2016-04-02 12:02:21Z: We’re having a busy afternoon here on the high bands, with lots of stations taking advantage of some weekend time to work us. Propagation has been quite good today, and we are trying to take advantage of that. It’s been a blast operating here, and we still have more than a week to go!
Have you heard of SSB?
I want to let the team know that someone using my call was QRMing the operation last night. It was NOT me . WR5O
Great work guys! Today was how I’d hoped Heard Island would be on the bands, tough but the rewards are there.
I landed QSOs with you on 30 and 20 last night. (ATNO, thanks!)
Propagation has been very difficult here (central Tennessee) for the entire duration of your trip. You were at the noise level last night. The loudest I’ve heard was S2, on 15 phone Friday morning. (of course, just as I left for work:) )
Your operators, both on 30 and 20, could hear EXCEPTIONALLY well. Your willingness to stick with the station you first come back to for as long as it takes to complete a QSO is noticed and greatly appreciated. I’m sure it’s often VERY frustrating on your end.
Thanks!
Awesome job to all the crew! Got you guys on 20m phone last night in Central California, what a thrill! Keep up the great work!
