Sound Seal and Acoustical Solutions have joined forces to help provide a custom solution for the VK0EK – Heard Island Expedition’s acoustical requirements. With over 60 years of combined experience in manufacturing and acoustics, our team is able to provide technical support and acoustical materials to solve any noise control problem.

For purposes of this expedition, this partnership has provided the widely known and reliable AQFA-10 product. AQFA-10 is a quilted fiberglass absorber that greatly reduces the reflection of sound waves and brings acoustic comfort to any space. It has a Class A fire rating and is the ideal solution for improving the communications process in the main operation tent on Heard Island.
