During Jan-March, the Angel Matching Fund, established by an exceedingly generous individual (who also is a prominent ham radio operator) raised donations of $22,978 for the Heard Island Expedition VKØEK. The fund was aimed at encouraging individuals and organizations not already part of the fundraising program to make significant contributions to the Project. The minimum donation was $1000. Unfortunately, according to the agreement and conditions of the Fund, it expired on March 31, 2015. The Fund is administered by Dr. Anders Jepsen, who can be reached at AJViking@aol.com.

Just now Dr. Jepsen reports that the Angel has agreed to a special offer to DXers: Any donations of $100 or more made at the International DX Convention in Visalia, California, April 17-19, 2015, will be elegible for dollar-for-dollar matching.
